THE 1895 CLUB : Message to the members of Golf de Valescure Golf de Valescure, founded in 1895, has the unique status and hence opportunity to have been accepted as the 36th member of The 1895 Club. As members of Golf de Valescure, take the opportunity to visit the other Member Clubs, and play their golf courses. Golf is by now a universal sport played worldwide to the same set of rules coordinated by the R&A and confirmed by the national golf federations, However, in each country where golf is played specific local traditions have evolved, including acceptable dress code, speed of play, etc. When visiting Member Clubs it is obligatory that members of Golf de Valescure respect the traditions of the host Member Club.
