Valescure Golf Club created in 1895 by Lord Ashlomb is situated amongst  forest of pine trees and is the oldest Club in the Var department and the fifth oldest Club in France.
The course which is 5005 metres long and is a PAR 68 is very much like a british course with several short holes and initially gives the impression of not beinh difficult.
But because of the narrow fairways and difficult rough, with some water hazards and small greens, it soon becomes apparent that the course is not easy but requires constant concentration and an intelligent choice of Clubs. It is sometimes necessary to sacrifice distance for precision.
